They swim silently along with unnoticeable in your subconscious head until it is too late. They can be like limpet mines in the electrical system and similar to viruses that continually influence your hard drive making it almost impossible for you to achieve your true performance potential in every area of your life.
Losers let life occur to them because, emotionally, the costly easy way out. Winners make life happen for them simply because, emotionally, it might not be advantageous, but they know it will always pay off in the long run. Dropping is an Emotional Habit and thus is winning. Life after that is the ultimate emotional encounter.
Losers engage in pleasurable actions with no particular result in thoughts; instant gratification is their own goal. Winners choose actions that will give them long-term achievements; delayed gratification, giving them the past and longest laugh.
Emotive Habits are formed by way of continuous, electrical impulse announcements to our mind, which the physical nerves carry from each of our hearing, touch, vision preference and smell to the files processing area of our head over our lifetime, often causing de-stabilising zzzs to occur in our body’s electrical (Energy) system.
The brain then brands a decision based on this information and immediately sends the working to obtain through the motor nerves on the right body parts demanding motion. It should therefore come as not surprising that after the body responds to the same emotional and equivalent stimuli, an emotional habit is formed after 30 to 30 times.
Here is the most exciting part. After a few years, because of this continuous repetition, the actual message from the censoring neural learns to jump to the conditioning motor neural without a conscious decision through the brain. Think about it. Only twenty-five to 30 repeats have an Emotional Habit to be created, and it becomes like an application installed in the computer’s hard drive, your brain, and your subconscious mind.
The actual SAS/SBS and SEAL coaching is a journey in which Psychological Habits are either trained or overlayered with brand new ones. You don’t think about whether you should follow your instructor’s directions; you just do it. At first, most of us would resist hearing and learning effectively and taking directions from our instructors. We would not freely rebel (we were not stupid), but our resistance turned up as we went through the (E) motions of the training pursuits. Some of us would over-dramatize our pains and spasms just trying to drag smoke, and the instructors would have us all do the activity or exercise repeatedly. Repetition, repetition, duplication.
Very quickly, though, we would find out that to drag smoke would only aggravate each of our learning curves, so the clever and dedicated ones amidst us developed Emotive Habits by always pursuing the rules whenever possible; by often putting out to the max, if it is with our buddy wherever many of us went, by constantly working, never walking, by often being prepared, trying to keep each of our dry diving suits patched up, our thick woollen under suits dry to the never-ending AWKWARD exercises. At the same time, they called these, often, nighttime or early morning drills through keeping our diving gear and firearms within A1 condition.
These AWKWARD drills required us to discover our way in the darkish to our diving platforms or even pontoons; silently dress in our woollen undersuits as well as dry rubber diving fits in record time, and become ready for a 10 km flipper swim or a 2 hours closed circuit oxygen compass dive or a physical diving exercise on the Jackstay line at the bottom of the harbour in presentation dark and ice chilly water.
Failure of one person to develop these emotional routines would bring unwanted focus on the group and, therefore, quickly affect all of us on an emotional/mental as well as physical level.
Eventually, that individual would be weeded out by the instructors and sent packing.
This behaviour developed into Emotional Habits after some time. Compelling research now pinpoints Emotional Habits or Emotive Intelligence (El), rather than IQ, as responsible for 90% of the success professionally and personally. Self-awareness, empathy, a chance to control our emotions, pay attention, recognise the good in an awful situation and work with others are just some behaviours that successful individuals and enterprises recognise and apply.
These critical attributes have been definitively linked to the success and success of individuals and many companies’ executives, managers and workers, including successful SAS/SBS and SEAL graduates.
SAS/SBS and SEAL Training courses are a battle of attrition and competition of luck and dedication. And as luck is the remains of design, only with time and many repetitions, difficulty and pain did all of us finally learn to LISTEN to our Instructors as though we had an antenna implanted between each of our ears.
We quickly mastered the meaning of discipline. We were becoming highly trainable volunteers because of the deliberate overlaying of new “Emotional Habits” covering the old ones, making us all obey the slightest order and direction.
When we let unhealthy habits be each of our guiding councils in life, we present up control of our measures and find ourselves at the mercy of which blind giant in the depths of the mind level of our minds who have called all the shots with virtually no concern for our wellbeing. Many of us lose our Electrical power! However, when we begin to cope with the attitudes and activities that emotionally bind all of us, we give ourselves permission to consider control and build new Psychological Habit patterns that assist us in performing to our most significant performance potential.
Short explodes of one and two or three-moment Energy Psychology mind-body physical exercise techniques should be part of our daily battle, game plan or even discipline. They are an effective way to assist you instantly deal with self-sabotaging thoughts and subsequent behaviours based on our own emotional understanding of experiences gathered over the life time and help you terme conseillé negative emotional habits using positive ones.
However, you will find a critical difference between learning something and how to help it become a part of our everyday struggle, game plan or discipline. The same as in the SBS/SEAL training courses, the secrets are repetition, repetition, and rep.
Repetition creates an over-emotional habit; emotional habits come to be convictions, and convictions handle your actions and, ultimately, decide whether you will attain your complete performance perspective in life.
